kevin arrowsmith photography is based at the cairn house gallery in the village of Durness, the most North Westerly community on mainland Britain. Being closer to Norway than London, dark skies and the occasional Aurora (Northern Lights) in winter contrast with seemingly endlessly long summer days. All this provides me with the inspiration and challenge to capture the uniqueness of this place in images. You can purchase a selection of my work online or visit us in person - see the 'cairn house gallery' page
New for 2014 - Exclusive to the gallery in Durness, I'm pleased to be able to stock a range of hand crafted ceramic items from skilled ceramicist, Martina Macleod.
