Kevin was born in Middlesbrough in 1960. An established career in telecoms and electronics has always been supplemented by a love of photography and of the local landscape.

The contrast provided by the industrial area of Teesside and the surrounding beauty of North Yorkshire has long been a focus of his work. More recently this has been complimented by an interest in macro photography inspired by a fascination with detail.
His landscape work continues to be influenced by some of the UK’s last remaining wildernesses. His love of the remotest parts of North West Scotland has led a decision to relocate to Durness in Sutherland where he has lived with his family since November 2006.
Kevin’s main objective is to be true to the original image. This means that his landscape photographs are subjected to the absolute minimum of manipulation. Whilst this is also true of his montage and macro images, a signature of Kevin’s work in this area is the backdrops added to create a clean visual impact.
Kevin is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and was awarded the Licentiateship Distinction in May, 2009.
