Finding us

The cairn house gallery is situated on the A838 between Durness village and Smoo. We're just opposite Durness Village Hall and the John Lennon Memorial Garden. The area is renowned for it's stunning beaches and natural beauty. Local attractions include Cape Wrath, the most North Westerly point on mainland Britain. Smoo Cave is two minutes walk from the gallery and is not to be missed. There's lots to explore so if you're planning a visit, be sure to stay more than a day.
